This Shabbat, as we conclude the festival of Passover, we will chant the Song of the Sea, the words of exultation the Israelites sang when they crossed the Red Sea as a newly free people. In the spirit of hopefulness that characterizes this season, we are pleased to share with you this modern take on the Exodus story, a congregational recording of the song “When You Believe” from The Prince of Egypt. “There can be miracles when you believe”: we hope this musical offering can inspire in us a renewed sense of hopefulness and an appreciation of the miracles and blessings in our lives.
